Description: Position: CT Tech Shift hours: 3x12s, Friday-Sunday. Start time based on unit needs, actual shift time may vary +/- 2 hours depending on department needs. Notification of change will be given one week in advance. On-call requirement: No call. Requests for time off must be included with submission. Facility is allowed to call off one shift per two weeks. Holidays are required and scheduled based on unit needs. Travelers may be scheduled to work a holiday that falls outside of contracted days. First-time travelers are not accepted. Local candidates are not accepted. Virginia state license required; any active state license accepted. Emergency authorization to work in Virginia while permanent license is processing is available. Required clinical skills include preparation and/or administration of contrast media and radiation safety. Travelers may be required to float to another location that is approximately half a mile away. This is an acute care teaching facility. It features over 700 licensed beds and is a Level I trauma center. It is recognized as a certified stroke center.
