Bus Drivers 20252026 School Year
Greenwood School District 50 is seeking reliable and safety-minded Bus Drivers to join our Transportation team for the 20252026 school year. Our drivers play a vital role in ensuring students arrive at school and return home safely each day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a school bus on assigned routes and schedules
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Comply with all traffic laws and district safety policies
- Maintain appropriate student discipline on the bus
- Participate in training sessions and demonstrate proficiency in bus operation
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (or ability to obtain)
- Satisfactory driving record (no more than 5 points)
- Ability to pass required physical, drug screening, TB test, and background checks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to student safety and punctuality
Work Schedule & Pay: 20252026 school year (exact schedules vary by route) Salary based on district transportation pay scale
