[About the Role]
Join a dynamic warehouse team as an Operator 2, Warehouse Operations in Sparks, MD (21152). As a vital member of our logistics operation, you'll use your skills to ensure materials and products move efficiently and safely throughout our facility. This contractor position offers steady day-shift hours and hands-on experience with a variety of material handling equipment.

[Responsibilities]

- Operate forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to transport materials, assemblies, and finished goods within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate records of product movement and inventory as required.
- Follow established SOPs and quality guidelines to ensure safety and compliance.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet productivity and safety targets in a metrics-driven environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols, use required PPE (including safety shoes), and pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Perform physical activities such as lifting, walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and repetitive hand movements, including handling items over 50 lbs.
- Work in varied warehouse conditions, including exposure to moving mechanical parts, weather extremes, and moderate to loud noise levels.

[Required Skills and Experience]

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0-1 year warehouse, logistics, or related operational experience.
- Basic knowledge of material handling practices.
- Effective communication skills for interaction with team members and supervisors.
- Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend English documents and perform basic math.
- General computer skills for data entry and report maintenance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary equipment certifications.
- Physical ability to meet job demands.
