Location: McDonough, GA 30253
Schedule: 24 hours per week (Flexible schedule)
Employment Type: School-Based Contract
Contract Dates: July 28, 2026 May 27, 2027
Pay Rate: Starting at $50/hour (dependent on experience)

Birch Agency is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF) to join a school-based team in the McDonough, Georgia area for the 20262027 school year .

This part-time opportunity offers a flexible 24-hour per week schedule , making it an excellent fit for clinicians seeking work-life balance or supplemental hours. The SLP will support approximately 30 elementary-aged students in a collaborative school environment while providing comprehensive speech-language services.

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students with communication disorders.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals.

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students.

• Manage a caseload of approximately 30 K5 students .

• Support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Mild Intellectual Disabilities (MID), and other communication needs within the general education curriculum.

• Complete all required responsibilities, including therapy services, evaluations, progress monitoring, IEP meetings, documentation, and case management.

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers to promote student success.

• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations.

• Utilize evidence-based therapy techniques to improve students' communication and educational outcomes.

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program required.

• Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure required.

• Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required.

• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

• Ability to independently manage a school-based caseload and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Elementary school setting serving Kindergarten through 5th-grade students .

• Approximately 30-student caseload .

• Flexible 24-hour per week schedule.

• Collaborative environment with teachers, administrators, school psychologists, occupational therapists, and other related service providers.
