Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner

Location Hartford, CT Opportunity Advanced Practitioners - Hospitalist/Emergency Responsibilities & Qualifications Nurse Practitioner (APRN) sought to join a large, vibrant, and growing hospitalist team Provide full-spectrum inpatient care including triaging, admitting, rounding, discharging, and addressing changes in clinical status Setting: Inpatient medicine, hospitalist Schedule: Full-time days with a flexible schedule and premium differentials offered No call required Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs in consultation with physicians and care team members, including referrals to specialists Identify problems outside scope of practice and refer appropriately to physician New graduates are welcome to apply; 1+ year of hospital medicine experience preferred Licensure: Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible) Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Acute Care certified Nurse Practitioner Comprehensive orientation provided by experienced Physician and Advanced Practice Hospitalists Dedicated support through the Office of Advanced Practice for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants Utilizes EPIC and state-of-the-art clinical informatics technology to promote improved patient outcomes Benefits Paid CME time off plus CME budget, and reimbursed professional licenses and dues Enhanced tuition assistance and higher education partnerships available Voluntary benefits include student loan programs, home, auto, and renters insurance, identity theft protection, legal services, pet insurance, and more Family care benefits including emergency back-up care for children, adults, and pets Compensation Employed salary with benefits. #J-18808-Ljbffr BAS HealthCare
