You'll provide skilled occupational therapy services in a dynamic environment, tailored to the unique needs of each student on your caseload. With a steady schedule of 30 hours per week, you'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and track the progress of students across all age groups, from kindergarten through twelfth grade.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Previous experience in school settings preferred, but not required
• Familiarity with school-based documentation standards and IEP processes
• Ability to adapt interventions for a diverse student population (K-12)
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with therapists, teachers, families, and other professionals
• Compassionate attitude and commitment to fostering students’ independence and participation in school activities

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of an OTR/L
• Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
• Document student progress and collaborate on IEP goals as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Assist in adapting classroom materials and environments for varying student needs
• Participate in team meetings, providing valuable input on student care and progress
