Location: Newport, Vermont

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., 3 days per week, with every other weekend required.

Job Description: A Respiratory Therapist position is available at our facility. The applicant will be a critical part of the healthcare team, providing essential respiratory care to patients in a Critical Access Hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care treatments and monitor patient responses.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure equipment functionality.
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory care and related equipment.
• Participate in department quarterly education sessions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Valid state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred, particularly in critical care.
• Current certifications in CPR and any additional required credentials.
