Additionally, the cook maintains sanitation protocols, proper food storage, and cleanliness of kitchen equipment and storage areas.Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesPrepares daily meals within established menu parametersServes daily meals to clientsWashes dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as requiredMaintains kitchen sanitation, including sweeping and mopping of floors each shiftMaintains "clean as you go" policy within work areasAdheres to established HACCP guidelines.Other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesIntermediate level of culinary equipment operation skills requiredKnowledge of OSHA regulations pertaining to food preparation and storage, use of kitchen utensils, and clean up materials used in a kitchenAbility to identify the needs/concerns of clients, and determine potential solutions, resolve, or redirect as appropriate is requiredAbility to work with and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information such as client care, medical-related information, or finances is requiredIntermediate oral/written communication and decision-making skills requiredBasic understanding of addiction/recovery and/or willingness to learn, required
