Data Governance Lead - Client Onboarding & Servicing

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience, or equivalent expertise, designing and implementing data governance frameworks and policies.
• Advanced knowledge of regulatory compliance, particularly data privacy and financial regulations.
• Expertise in managing data lineage and metadata to support traceability and discoverability.
• Advanced data quality management skills to maintain accuracy, completeness, and reliability across systems.
• Experience leading AI model risk management initiatives, including addressing adversarial attacks and model inversion.

• Lead the implementation and ongoing operation of data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and controls.
• Establish and maintain repeatable governance processes, operating routines, ownership models, and escalation paths.
• Monitor compliance with governance standards and work with data owners and stakeholders to resolve gaps, risks, and control issues.
• Direct data quality work, including issue identification, prioritization, root-cause analysis, remediation tracking, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain data lineage, metadata, and ownership practices to strengthen traceability, usability, and accountability.
• Oversee complex data issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Collaborate with Product, Technology, Operations, Controls, and business teams to incorporate governance requirements into processes and technology delivery.
• Define and track governance metrics, data-quality indicators, and operational reports on performance, risks, and remediation progress.
• Manage AI-related data and risk assessments and ensure appropriate governance and controls address potential threats and vulnerabilities.
