Position Summary

The Fuel Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of refined petroleum products to 24/7 Travel Store locations. Drivers are expected to operate commercial vehicles safely, maintain regulatory compliance, provide exceptional customer service, and represent the company professionally. This position is based out of our WaKeeney, Kansas location and allows drivers to return home daily.

Essential Job Functions

1. Safely Transport Petroleum Products Operate commercial tanker vehicles to safely deliver fuel to company locations while following all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety requirements.

2. Conduct Vehicle Inspections and Maintain Equipment Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and routine vehicle inspections while reporting maintenance concerns promptly to ensure equipment remains safe and reliable.

3. Maintain Regulatory Compliance Complete electronic logs, inspection reports, delivery documentation, and other required records while maintaining compliance with DOT, FMCSA, Hazmat, and company policies.

4. Deliver Outstanding Customer Service Maintain professional relationships with store personnel and respond to delivery needs in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.

5. Promote Safety and Operational Excellence Follow all safety procedures during loading, transportation, unloading, and fuel deliveries while protecting company assets and the environment.

6. Perform Other Duties as Assigned Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support transportation operations and business objectives.

Qualifications

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements required. Safe driving record. Experience hauling liquid products preferred; refined petroleum experience is a plus. Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and Hazmat regulations. Ability to safely operate commercial tanker equipment. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the position.

Location

This position is based in WaKeeney, Kansas. Drivers are home daily with no scheduled overnight routes.
