Operations Technician II, III or Sr

Job Overview Operations Technician Sr. at Williams. Responsibilities Perform a variety of tasks to safely maintain facility equipment and support pipeline operations, including applying technical standards and governmental requirements. Carry out moderate to highly sophisticated technical assignments as prescribed by leadership, analyzing data to resolve issues. Read and interpret drawings; draft operations and maintenance procedures. Follow all company policies and applicable procedures. Coordinate protection of community, personnel, environment and assets. Oversee knowledge of site/location/equipment specific permits and compliance. Complete assigned reports, logs and maintain accurate records. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED required. Minimum six (6) years of demonstrated ability as an Operations Technician for similar equipment or facility (Operations Technician Sr.). Preferred: Associate’s or 2‑year technical degree. Preferred: Minimum six (6) years of multifaceted operations technician experience within a natural gas processing or compression facility. Valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and PC skills. Proficient / advanced knowledge of Process Control Systems and Programmable Logic Controllers. Demonstrated aptitude for embracing technology and applications to drive operational efficiency. Excellent organizational/interpersonal skills with safety as the utmost priority. Physical & Environmental Requirements Work in extreme temperatures, loud noises, and enclosed spaces. Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed. Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat for long periods. Work at elevated levels, including from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and small towers with appropriate PPE. Shift/Work Hours/Travel Available to work after hours, on‑call rotations, nights, weekends, and holidays as the need arises. May be required to work overtime (10‑12 hour shifts) and travel between Williams locations with occasional overnight stays. Hourly Salary Range $31 – $45 – $60 per hour.
