Talent Acquisition Specialist

Serving as a strategic partner in full-cycle recruitment, the full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist will attract, assess, and hire mission-aligned talent for various positions, collaborating with hiring managers and academic leaders while supporting a centralized talent acquisition model, either remotely or on-site in Abilene, Texas. Key responsibilities Lead full-cycle recruitment processes from requisition approval to onboarding for diverse employee populations Partner with hiring managers and search committees to clarify workforce needs and develop effective sourcing strategies Promote a positive candidate experience and ensure compliance with hiring practices and university policies Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered Three years of relevant experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or human resources Experience managing multiple concurrent full-cycle recruitment processes Proficiency with an applicant tracking system or HR information system Ability to evaluate candidates against qualifications and provide clear recommendations
