Half when hired and half after successfully completing 6 months of employment and meeting applicable eligibility requirements.*Pay: $22.00 to $25.00 per hourSchedule: Monday-FridayPART TIME AFTERNOON: 2:15 PM - 6:00 PMAbout the RoleAlphaBEST Education is seeking a Site Director to lead a before and after-school program for elementary students. This part-time leadership role is ideal for educators or youth program professionals who enjoy working with children and leading a small team in a structured school-based environment.The Site Director oversees daily program operations, ensures student safety, supports staff, and builds strong relationships with families and school partners.Key Responsibilities:Lead the daily operations of the before and after-school programMaintain safe staff-to-student ratios and licensing complianceSupervise and support program staffImplement engaging enrichment and learning activitiesMaintain attendance, documentation, and program recordsEnsure a safe, inclusive, and structured environment for studentsCommunicate with families, school administration, and AlphaBEST leadershipPrepare the site for licensing visits and inspectionsMonitor supplies, snacks, and program materialsQualifications:Must be at least 21 years oldHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredAt least 1 year of experience working with school-age children with skills in managing, planning, or staffingCandidates must meet one of the following education requirements:Child Development Associate (CDA), OR12 college credits in child care or a related field within a minimum of 48 total college credits, ORAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in child care or a related fieldPreferred:Experience in teaching, youth programs, or childcarePrevious team leadership or staff supervisionPhysical RequirementsAbility to work with children in an active environmentRegular bending, standing, and lifting up to 25 poundsWhy Join AlphaBEST?AlphaBEST Education provides before-school, after-school, summer, and enrichment programs that inspire students to learn and grow beyond the school day.This role is a great opportunity for educators, youth program leaders, or childcare professionals looking for a part-time leadership position aligned with the school schedule.We provide training, support, and opportunities to grow your leadership skills while making a positive impact on students.Learn more about AlphaBEST careers at alphabest.org/careers
