Bring your passion for supporting students to a meaningful contract role working with elementary-aged children in a specialized classroom environment. This opportunity is perfect for an experienced paraprofessional seeking to make a difference in the lives of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a vibrant, supportive school community. You’ll enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, with a bell schedule of 8:15 AM to 3:25 PM, through the end of the school year.

Desired Qualifications:

• Demonstrated paraprofessional experience, particularly in elementary school settings
• Proven expertise working with students with ASD, including hands-on ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) experience
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive and nurturing learning environment
• Flexibility and willingness to participate in a backfill assignment as part of an established team
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset to work closely with educators and administrators
• While a formal ABA certification is not required, those with relevant certifications or additional ABA training are highly encouraged to apply

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support classroom teacher and assist in implementing individualized strategies for students with ASD
• Employ ABA techniques under guidance and supervision to address student goals and encourage positive behavior
• Provide direct, in-classroom assistance facilitating academic, social, and emotional growth
• Monitor student progress, contribute observational insights, and maintain open communication with the teaching team
• Help maintain a structured, safe, and positive classroom atmosphere throughout the school day

This is a full-time, contract position with immediate start available and runs through May of 2027. A quick and streamlined credentialing process, including a background check, is required to ensure you can start promptly.
