Associate Director for Academic Operations

Felician University, the Franciscan University of New Jersey is seeking a dynamic, creative, and enthusiastic office operations professional to serve as Associate Director of Academic operations. The Associate Director has oversight of a variety of office functions, and ensures the efficient and effective management of academic operations within the Office of Registration and Records. S/he has oversight for a wide breadth and depth of education support services. Required Education: BA/BS degree required, Master’s degree in higher education administration, educational leadership, or related field preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in higher education; preferably in the Registrar & Records area; knowledge of the Ellucian Colleague database and SIS databases; comprehensive understanding of FERPA regulations governing privacy rights concerning student records; excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; ability to work both independently and as part of a team; in-depth knowledge of best practices, trends, regulatory requirements of academic operations, student records management; knowledge of and significant experience with Microsoft Office Suite; proven ability to think strategically. And with a strong operational function; ability and willingness to train co-workers and students on new technologies; ability and willingness to support and promote the Felician Franciscan mission and values of the University.
