Job Details Job Location: Wake Forest, NC 27587 Position Type: Part Time JOB TITLE: Special Projects and Mobilization Coordinator - Part-time DEPARTMENT: Center for Great Commission Studies SUPERVISOR: Office Manager and Director HOURS: 20-25 hours Purpose of the job This job exists to establish and plan and facilitate special projects, such as the prayer card initiative, within the Center for Great Commission Studies and support student mobilization efforts under the guidance of the Associate Director. In this role, the employee will devise, implement, and facilitate various CGCS projects. A person in this role will coordinate project management efforts for the center and ensure staff are working together to accomplish these goals. Essential Responsibilities Primary project and event management duties. Planning and implementing new projects. Managing the timeline and rollout of new and ongoing efforts in the CGCS, as well as facilitating the involvement of various staff in these projects. Maintain and expand the Prayer Card Initiative for the CGCS. Maintain and expand certain web properties tied to CGCS initiatives such as thecgcs.com and missions.center. Strategize on new ways to utilize student information and center efforts to promote student mobilization. Assist in and coordinate various student mobilization events and processes. Other Responsibilities Office liaison and relationship building with counterparts in other offices that may need student mobilization efforts or work with the CGCS on various projects. Work collaboratively with other team members to brainstorm new ideas for projects, events, and mobilization. Assist other team members as needed and as able. Potential for content creation and article writing tied to center resourcing efforts. Potential for involvement in GO meetings and student mobilization efforts. Knowledge and Skills Excellent organizational and planning skills Time management: This is a part-time position, so this person will need to use his/her time in the most efficient way possible. Attention to detail for important project logistics. Ability to manage multiple tasks at a time. Ability to work under deadline pressure. Willingness to learn and master the ins/outs of the database. Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Extent of Public Contact Within the seminary: Regular contact with other staff, faculty, students, event attendees, etc. Outside the seminary: Occasional need for contact with other members of the public at events, conferences, in the community, campus visitors or guests, etc. Physical Demands Ability to stand for extended periods of time for impromptu meetings and occasional events. Working Conditions and Environment On occasion, attend certain campus events, which may be scheduled on the weekend or on weeknights. This is a rare occurrence for this role.
