Travel RN - Interventional Radiology/IR - Interventional Radiology

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Interventional Radiology travel assignment in the Denver, CO area, requiring a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience and active CO or Compact RN license.

Job Details

• Located on the 3rd floor Medical Imaging department of a hospital in Englewood, CO,
• Interventional Radiology unit staffed by 11 RNs,
• Day shift hours are 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday,
• On-call coverage required one day per week and every 3rd weekend,
• Image-guided invasive procedures performed in IR, CT, and Ultrasound,
• Additional procedures include MRI with anesthesia and pacemaker observation,
• Equipment used includes fluoroscopy suites, catheters, stents, and IV pumps,
• EMR: Meditech/CPN (prior experience preferred),

Job Requirements

• Active CO or Compact RN license required,
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA or ARC accepted; no certifications expiring within 30 days of start date),
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical RN experience,
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care hospital RN experience in the specialty,
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration - no Canadian SSNs accepted,
• One professional reference required,
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,

Additional Information

• Performs image-guided and invasive procedures across IR, CT, and Ultrasound settings,
• Ideal candidate is flexible, detail-oriented, and patient-care focused,
• Prior Meditech experience is preferred,
• Medical Imaging experience is highly preferred,
• Previous travel experience at large trauma facilities is a plus,
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility - no local candidates accepted,
• Local candidates are not eligible - no exceptions
