LPN - 1 to 1 Support for Student

Starting Date: Aug 31, 2026 Chelmsford Public Schools is announcing a vacancy for the 2026-2027 School Year. Position Title: 1:1 LPN Location: Chelmsford High School General Description The Nurse (LPN) will provide 1:1 medical and ADL support for a student with specialized health care needs. This position will also support the student with accommodations in the special education classroom to access learning. Qualifications Possession of a valid Commonwealth of Massachusetts license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Valid and current certification in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation and AED from a recognized provider (e.g., American Heart Association). Nursing experience in community or child health; experience in pediatrics is preferred. Understanding of child growth and development. Ability to think critically and react decisively in emergency situations. Demonstrated effective communication with students, staff members, and parents and ability to maintain confidentiality. Physical Demands Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, kneel, and talk or hear. Must be able to respond quickly in an emergency. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
