Registered Nurse Ortho Trauma

Role Overview: We are seeking a Registered Nurse Ortho Trauma to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a specialized orthopedic trauma setting. Key Responsibilities Assess patient conditions during admission and shifts, promptly reporting changes. Perform procedures, monitor responses, and document care thoroughly. Administer medications, observe therapeutic effects, and address adverse reactions. Respond promptly to patient requests and proactively anticipate needs. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care, translating complex information clearly. Qualifications & Skills Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or enrollment in a BSN program with completion within 5 years; exemptions available for experienced RNs. Preferred Education: Master's in Nursing. Licensure: Current RN license in the state, with BLS certification; national specialty certification preferred. Experience: At least one year of nursing experience.
