Part Time Security Specialist
Clifton Public Schools
School Safety SpecialistsQualifications include, but are not limited to:The School Safety Specialist will ensure the security, safety and well being of all students, personnel and visitors by supporting the administration in the effective management of the school building Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: patrolling school grounds, maintaining order, monitoring visitors coming into their building, intervening in student problems, and the general protection of staff and studentsExperience in law enforcement, school security, and/or public safety preferredEducation - college degree preferredValid driver's license requiredFirst Aid/CPR/AED certification preferredKnowledge of security measures, fire prevention, and crowd control preferredAbility to maintain order and work with groups and individuals on matters of security and crisis management requiredExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of staff, students, parents and community requiredRequired criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident status
