Phlebotomist

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (additional days/hours as needed). Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient information accurately and on time. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Assist with administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Qualifications Minimum: Nevada state‑issued laboratory assistant license. Preferred: 1year or more experience as a phlebotomist. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Additional Job Standards In lieu of the state license, an application for a lab assistant license filed with the NV Department of Health at time of hire may satisfy the license requirement. Pay Range $17.75–$27.69 per hour. Phlebotomists may be eligible for the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
