This role involves safely operating an on-site dump truck at a wastewater facility, transporting materials between a feeder and designated dumping areas on a structured night shift schedule. You will support consistent plant operations by performing regular hauls throughout the shift with minimal physical labor.

• Operate an on-site dump truck safely and efficiently within the wastewater facility.
• Drive the dump truck from the loading feeder to the designated dumping area and return for the next load.
• Complete approximately 12–13 dump truck loads per night, averaging about one dump per hour.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the dump truck to ensure safe operating condition.
• Follow all site safety protocols, traffic patterns, and operational procedures within the plant.
• Coordinate with plant personnel and equipment operators to ensure smooth material flow.
• Operate in a consistent, repetitive route within the facility, maintaining focus and attention to detail.
• Report any mechanical issues, hazards, or incidents promptly to site supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cab and work area as required by site standards.

• 4+ years of experience operating dump trucks or heavy equipment.
• Proficiency in operating dump trucks in an industrial or construction environment.
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, excavators, or dozers.
• Ability to safely maneuver large vehicles in confined or busy industrial areas.
• Strong awareness of safety practices and adherence to site-specific safety protocols.
• Willingness and ability to work night shifts on a rotating schedule.
• Comfort working in a wastewater plant environment.

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a plus.
• Experience working in wastewater, industrial, or similar heavy industrial facilities is beneficial.
• Ability to follow a structured schedule and maintain consistent performance throughout the shift.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with plant operators and team members.

You will work on-site at a wastewater plant and must be comfortable with the associated sights, sounds, and odors of this type of facility. The role is based on a night shift using a Dupont schedule, which includes working every other weekend and a repeating pattern of on and off days: first week working Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, off Tuesday and Wednesday, working Thursday and Friday; second week off Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, working Tuesday and Wednesday, off Thursday and Friday, and working Saturday and Sunday. The work focuses on operating a dump truck and coordinating with other heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, excavators, and dozers in an industrial setting, with minimal manual labor required.

This is a Contract position based out of Baltimore, MD.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Baltimore,MD.
