Position: Anesthesiologist Specialty: General Anesthesiology Location: Lakewood, NJ 08701 Healthcare Setting: Outpatient surgical center Start Date: 06/10/2026 End Date: 05/30/2027 Case Mix: Primarily urology and GI, with occasional endoscopy Charting System: Paper and iPro Call Schedule: No in-house call, pager call, or weekend call required Job Requirements Board certification or fellowship required M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school Completion of an approved anesthesiology residency ECFMG and FLEX required, if applicable At least 1 year of anesthesia experience preferred Ability to obtain emergency privileges in a timely manner Comfort working with adult patients only Responsibilities Direct and coordinate anesthesia department activities Provide medical management for patients undergoing surgery and other procedures Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and assessments Obtain and verify patient consent Discuss anesthetic options, risks, and procedures with patients Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia Monitor physiological status throughout procedures Deliver clinical interventions as needed to support patient safety and comfort Collaborate with the care team in both supervisory and hands-on anesthesia settings We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity across our organization.
