Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00–07:30 | Every Other Weekend and Some Holidays Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting across multiple ICU populations
• Manage and monitor patients requiring high-acuity nursing care including neurological, cardiothoracic, burn, and trauma surgery populations
• Deliver care to IMC, progressive, and general care populations as needed
• Float to other units as required based on staffing and patient census needs
• Accurately identify and respond to critical cardiac rhythms and telemetry findings

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of two years of inpatient acute care experience in an ICU specialty within the last three years
• Must pass a telemetry examination prior to start (adult and pediatric components with strict passing criteria; maximum of three attempts)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (locals not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple ICU subspecialties such as Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, Burn ICU, or Trauma Surgery
• Familiarity with progressive or intermediate care unit patient populations
