Security Technician

Radius Systems is seeking a skilled and motivated Security Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring and maintaining a variety of security systems across multiple client sites. The Security Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of security, access control, and intercom systems while providing exceptional field service. Duties/Responsibilities: Assist in providing hardware and software analysis, commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and repair for security systems Terminates and labels all panels, controllers, communication wiring, input/output wiring Assists when required with panel fabrication Maintain working knowledge of required troubleshooting tools, including DMM Maintain knowledge and skills related to input/output devices and other parts used in systems installed Maintain required paperwork and electronic data entry to document work performed Reads and interprets construction drawings, and Radius Systems engineering submittals Provide 24-hour service availability by on‑call rotation Works effectively with other site trades to maximize cooperation and efficiency of installation work Safeguards and maintains equipment, tools, and vehicles Assures that quality and productivity meet company and customer standards Complies with standards of conduct and appearance to reflect positively on company image Qualifications/Skills: High School Diploma Working knowledge of Windows‑based computers, including Office Suite, Word, Excel Ability to learn quickly and retain information about products Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills Ability to adapt to rapidly changing schedules and priorities Fluent ability to work with laptops, tablets, and smartphones Outstanding customer interface and human relations skills Ability to work in a team environment Valid Driver’s License #J-18808-Ljbffr Radius Systems LLC
