General ManagerCulligan is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee our business operations at the store branches. The General Manager will be responsible for leading and managing daily operations to achieve business goals and maximize profitability. As General Manager, your duties also include guiding staff in your branch, setting performance objectives, evaluating, and optimizing operational performance, ensuring regulatory and company standards are upheld, and preparing operations and financial reports. To be successful as a General Manager, you should be able to lead and manage people, ensure operations run smoothly, and achieve revenue targets. Ultimately, a top-notch General Manager should be able to demonstrate excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.Specific Job Function:Oversee production and operations at the bottling water plant and satellite branches, with specific attention to service-related activities such as HVAC, Plumbing, and maintenanceDrive business growth and profitability through efficient management of service operationsSafeguard branch assets and manage profit and loss activities, with a focus on service-related revenue streamsMonitor and control overtime and temporary labor usage, particularly in service departmentsEnsure staff delivers exceptional customer service in service-related interactions and evaluate staff performance in this areaMotivate and recognize branch personnel contributions to foster a team culture, emphasizing the importance of service excellenceConduct financial analysis and implement corrective actions as needed, with particular attention to service-related revenue and expensesManage delivery and service call routing efficiently, optimizing schedules to maximize productivity and customer satisfactionAchieve sales targets for service contracts and related offerings, and prepare forecasts and budgets accordinglySupervise branch payables, inventory, and receivables, with a focus on service-related materials and suppliesStay informed about local market competition, particularly in the service sector, and adjust strategies accordinglyRecruit, select, and develop branch employees, with an emphasis on technical skills and service expertiseEnforce company policies and safety guidelines, with particular attention to service-related safety protocolsProvide training and coaching to employees, with a focus on technical skills and service excellenceSupport production supervisor and assist in administrative tasks, particularly those related to service operationsHandle paperwork related to insurance reporting, with a focus on service-related incidents and claimsWear designated company uniform as required, particularly in service-related rolesOptimize branch efficiency through automation and consolidation of duties, particularly in service-related processesQualifications:Four-year degree in Sales, Marketing, Management, or a related field is preferredDirect responsibility for P&L performance, including revenue, costs, and marginsProven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams5 years of Basic Plumbing, Operations, Management, and Marketing is a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectivelyAbility to work with all levels of managementAbility to generate sales growthStrong sales generation ability and financial performanceAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities; strong decision-making and problem-solving abilitiesStrong analytical and strategic thinking skillsProficient in Microsoft OfficeCompetencies:ResourcefulnessCustomer FocusTeam PlayerPassionIntegrityOrganizational/PlanningCommunicationAnalytical Judgement/Decision MakingDetail OrientedTarget Salary Range: $95,000 – $130,000 salary a year with the opportunity for eligible employees to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company's bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.
