Position Summary: As a Registered Nurse in our facility, you''ll do more than care for patients—you''ll lead, teach, and advocate. Working closely with healthcare and correctional staff, you''ll assess physical/mental health needs, administer medications, and guide treatment plans from start to finish. You''ll play a key role in supporting patient education, making timely referrals, and helping maintain safety and standards across the unit. Whether you''re managing medications, mentoring staff, or responding to a crisis, your skills will make a real impact every day. You''ll do more than just deliver care. You''ll restore dignity, build trust, and change lives. Responsibilities Assess physical and mental health needs and develop appropriate care plans. Administer medications and monitor responses. Guide treatment plans from start to finish in collaboration with healthcare and correctional staff. Support patient education and make timely referrals. Maintain safety and standards across the unit; respond to crises as needed. Manage medications and mentor staff where applicable. What You'll Need Active unrestricted RN license in state of practice and 1–2 years of nursing experience (correctional experience preferred). Active CPR certification. Strong clinical and communication skills; adaptability in high-pressure settings. A compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to patient care.
