Job Summary

At Sunrise Manor (3) in Bay Shore, NY, we are seeking a compassionate and organized Staffing Coordinator to join our dedicated team. As a valued member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility and providing exceptional care to our 84 residents. With our warm and home-like atmosphere, you will be part of a team that prides itself on providing individualized and personal attention to each resident.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing schedules and assignments to ensure adequate coverage and care for our residents

• Conduct daily staffing meetings to review resident needs and plan for the day's activities

• Collaborate with nursing and other departments to ensure effective communication and care coordination

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident satisfaction and experience

• Maintain accurate records and reports, including staffing levels, resident care plans, and facility operations

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and visitors, and promote a positive and respectful environment

Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a long-term care facility

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups
