Are you a driven leader who thrives on providing 5-star service to hotel guests? You could be the perfect fit for our next assistant general manager position! We need an experienced hospitality expert who can work with our general manager on daily operations and begin learning how to become a GM for future growth and expansion.

Our ideal candidate should have experience with property management systems. Opera or Opera cloud experience would greatly enhance your position as a viable candidate. It would also be helpful if the candidate has experience with accounting platform like M3. Having a degree in hospitality management would be great but it is not necessary. Having adequate experience and a strong desire to provide great customer service will be welcomed.

We like to provide our managers to have a work life balance. The primary schedule for this position is Tuesday - Saturday., mid shifts and evenings. Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all local, state, and federal rules and regulations, as well as any corporate or brand-established policies and practices, are followed
• Collaborate with department heads and the general manager to develop an annual budget, and assess performance throughout the year, making modifications as needed to preserve profitability
• Recommend improvements that will improve the hotel profitability by analyzing department performance and identifying problem areas
• Consult with the general manager to ensure that all guest service standards are met daily

• Lead by example, Aid GM in recruiting, training and counseling employees.

Qualifications:

• This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
• 3+ years of experience working in a hotel or the hospitality industry required
• A proven record of experience managing a team, preferably in a hospitality role, is required
• Have superb communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills
