• A General Manager is an experienced restaurant leader that is dedicated to driving operational excellence through a memorable Guest experience. GMs lead by example and provide guidance in their restaurant to all Team Members, Shift Managers, and Store Managers. GMs are people-people who are passionate about helping their teams learn and grow every day. GMs are responsible for onboarding new members of the team and maintaining a positive work environment by cultivating a positive restaurant culture. GMs are their restaurant’s brand champion and inspire their teams to deliver food to guests that is cooked to perfection, made with love, and served fresh.

What You’ll Do

As a General Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of the restaurant - leading operations, inspiring your team, and delivering top-notch experiences every shift. Responsibilities include:

• Recruit, train, and retain friendly, motivated team members who love to serve others and bring positive energy to every shift.
• Create efficient, sales-driven schedules each week that balance business needs and team well-being.
• Ensure every guest leaves happy. Empower and coach your team to deliver excellence in Quality, Friendliness, Cleanliness, Accuracy, and Speed, the Arby’s way!
• Maintain a safe, secure environment for both guests and employees through consistent adherence to all Arby’s safety standards.
• Drive performance to meet or exceed your restaurant’s Annual Operating Plan targets.
• Enforce Arby’s “Safety First” standards to guarantee safe, high-quality food every shift.
• Keep the restaurant spotless, organized, and guest-ready always using Arby’s proven operational systems.
• Oversee purchasing, prep, and service to ensure every sandwich, side, and shake meets our high product standards. Manage costs to achieve profit goals in line with the Operations Standards Manual (OSM).
• Ensure all restaurant equipment is properly maintained, and preventive maintenance is completed as scheduled.
• Create an environment of enthusiasm, teamwork, and pride. Inspire your team with energy, optimism, and a commitment to excellence.
• Train and hold team members accountable for cash handling, credit card security, and maintaining a secure environment.
• Conduct semi-annual performance appraisals and celebrate wins while identifying development opportunities.
• Handle all administrative tasks accurately and on time, ensuring operational consistency and compliance with company guidelines.

Requirements

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• 1+ years’ experience as a General Manager in the Food or Hospitality industry, with a track record of successfully managing a high-volume establishment.
• Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
• Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to analyze financial data for informed decision-making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and team members.
• Organized and meticulous, with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of local health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce compliance.
• Open availability and the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
• Frequent kneeling, lifting, and product handling
• Comfortable with physical tasks related to prep, stocking, and inventory
