Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg | Full Time Pay Range: $46.47 – $65.05 per hour Shift: 12-hour Shifts Shift: ( 6:45am – 7:15pm ) or ( 6:45pm - 7:15am ) Bonuses: Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus (3+ years Acute Care RN experience) $5,000 Sign-On Bonus (1–3 years experience) About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical‑Surgical (Med/Surg) Unit . In this role, you will deliver holistic, patient‑centered care using the Nursing Process while demonstrating strong clinical judgment, leadership, and a commitment to excellence. You will play a key role in improving patient outcomes while working collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams in a fast‑paced acute care environment. You will provide care to a diverse patient population, including: Newborns and pediatric patients Adolescents and adults Geriatric patients Patients, staff, physicians, and the broader community Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans Deliver safe, effective, and evidence‑based nursing care Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical standards Monitor, evaluate, and communicate changes in patient condition to the care team Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Provide patient and family education , including discharge planning Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation Adhere to infection prevention protocols and patient safety standards (Joint Commission/NPSGs) Identify and report quality or risk management concerns appropriately Participate in emergency response and disaster support , as required Qualifications Education & Experience: Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Acute Care preferred Demonstrated competency in Med/Surg or similar clinical setting Licensure & Certifications: Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License (Required) BLS Certification (Required prior to patient care or within orientation period) Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Proficiency in patient care planning and documentation Knowledge of infection control, medication safety, and nursing best practices Basic computer and EMR proficiency Work Environment & Expectations Expected to respond during emergencies and community disaster situations Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and ethical practice Maintains a collaborative and respectful team environment Upholds the California Nursing Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics Why Join Us?
