Join our culinary team at King David Post Acute Nursing & Rehabilitation as a Dietary Cook! As a Dietary Cook, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional nutrition services to our residents. Your attention to detail, creativity, and passion for cooking will help bring joy and satisfaction to our residents' dining experiences.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications and dietary requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with meal scheduling, ordering, and inventory management
• Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and execute special events and themed meals
• Develop and implement new menu ideas and culinary techniques to enhance dining experiences
• Ensure that all food is served hot, fresh, and appealing to the eye
• Maintain accurate records of meal production, inventory, and waste
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 0 years of experience in food service or related field (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
