Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU / IMC / Stepdown)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Projected Start: August 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Intermediate Care Unit setting
• Monitor and assess patients requiring a higher level of observation than general medical-surgical floors
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of recent PCU, IMC, or Stepdown nursing experience
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Experience with electronic health record systems in an acute care setting
