Ultrasound Technician (OB Certified)

Location: Oregon

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift: 4x10-Hour (12:00 PM - 05:30 PM)

Job Description: The Ultrasound Technician will perform high-quality OB ultrasound procedures, utilizing state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment. This role requires a strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while providing compassionate care to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Perform OB ultrasound exams including first, second, and third-trimester studies.
• Operate ultrasound equipment effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate findings to the healthcare team.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Assist with training and mentoring of junior staff as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Bachelor's degree in Sonography preferred.
• Four years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician with travel experience preferred.
• Active BLS certification from the AHA.
• Current sonography license with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI), either permanent or temporary.
• Registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in both Abdomen and OB/GYN.
• Epic charting experience is a mandatory requirement.
