DutiesIf selected at the GS-05 level, the below responsibilities will be performed in a developmental capacity.Serves as a Verifying Official (VO) operating DEERS/RAPIDS workstations.Adds, updates, retrieves, displays, transmits, and stores personally identifiable information on individuals in the DEERS database.Generates the Common Access Card (CAC) for eligible military, civilian, contractor, Guard/Reserve, and foreign military personnel.Generates the Uniform Services Identification (USID) Card for eligible individuals including retired military, military dependents, foreign nationals, volunteers, and others.Operates the installation's electronic security system (ESS).Greets customers and determines their eligibility to enter the installation.Supports installation physical security and law enforcement programs by producing analytical reports pertaining to ID card issuance and lost or stolen identification credentials.
