Pharmacy Technician - Worcester, MA

An urgent opportunity is available for Pharmacy Technicians to support a long-term care and intellectual developmental disorder pharmacy during a critical production period. This contract role involves assisting with data entry, fulfillment, tote packing, and various pharmacy duties to help stabilize workflow after a recent system upgrade.

Location:

• Worcester, MA

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM (flexible opening/closing shifts)
• Saturday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (weekend coverage preferred)

Duration:

• 4 to 6 weeks, until production backlog is resolved

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate data entry and order fulfillment to ensure timely medication dispensing
• Pack totes and assist with various production tasks as needed
• Adapt to dynamic workload and collaborate with pharmacy staff to meet daily goals
• Operate within the newly implemented Frameworks system to maintain efficiency

Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license required
• Prior experience in long-term care pharmacy preferred; retail pharmacy technicians with high volume experience are encouraged to apply
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekend availability
• Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
