Flex Security Officer

Established in 1953, Per Mar Security Services is the largest, family-owned, full-service security company in the Midwest with more than 2,600 team members, operating in 25 branch locations. The company provides full-service security solutions for homes and businesses, including security officer services, smart home automation, burglar and fire alarms, access control, security cameras, alarm monitoring, investigative services, and background checks.
We are looking to hire for FLEX SECURITY OFFICERS in the Waterloo/Cedar Rapids/Iowa City, Iowa Areas. Our Cedar Rapids branch covers; Waterloo, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Mt. Pleasant & the surrounding areas. All interviews and onboardings must take place at our Cedar Rapids Branch.
Pay: Ranges from $15.00 - $21.00 an hour depending on assigned post.
Shift: Various hour needs, but primarily someone who is available to cover vacant shifts between 05:00-22:00 seven days a week. (Some overnight shifts may be available as well.)
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to pass a Federal State of Iowa background check, motor vehicle report and 4 panel drug screen.
- Must be available 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. (Anyone with day/weekend shift restrictions need not apply.)
- Must come to the Cedar Rapids branch for interviews and potentially onboard.
- Shifts may come up on short notice.
