Financial Analyst

Job Description

Overview: Insight Global is seeking a Financial Analyst to support FP&A operations, budgeting, financial reporting, productivity analysis, and decision support initiatives. This individual will partner with finance leadership and operational stakeholders to analyze performance, support monthly financial processes, and provide actionable insights to improve business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with annual budget development and forecasting

• Support monthly financial reviews and reconciliations

• Perform ad hoc financial analysis, proformas, and ROI evaluations

• Generate operational and financial reports from hospital systems

• Analyze department volumes, labor productivity, and staffing trends

• Support service line and entity-level financial reporting

• Partner with department leaders regarding budget performance and variances

• Assist with month-end close activities and financial presentations

• Serve as a liaison between hospital operations and finance

Skills and Requirements

Must-Haves

• 3+ years of Financial Analysis, FP&A, or Decision Support experience within an Acute Care Hospital

• Strong understanding of hospital operations and healthcare finance

• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, financial modeling)

• Knowledge of GAAP principles

• Ability to analyze data and identify trends

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Self-starter with strong follow-through and accountability Preferred:

• CPA

• MBA or Master's Degree

• Power BI experience

• Decision Support experience

• Cost accounting exposure

Healthcare Administration, Finance, or Business degree
