Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to residents during night shifts under supervision of a charge nurse.
• Administer prescribed medications and document administration in the resident record.
• Monitor vital signs, observe changes in condition, and report findings to the supervising RN.
• Assist with activities of daily living, mobility, and Transfers, while ensuring resident safety.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care, interventions, and observations.
• Follow infection control policies, safety protocols, and facility procedures; respond promptly to call lights; participate in care planning.

Requirements

• Availability to work a 3x12 night shift schedule.
• Willingness to travel and commit to a 12-week temporary assignment.
• Ability to work effectively in a long-term care setting.
• Strong clinical assessment, observation, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
