Shamrock Montessori is seeking a warm, patient, and enthusiastic Lead Toddler Montessori Teacher to join our team. Must have Montessori Credential and some experience. The ideal candidate can independently manage a classroom, prepare materials, foster a warm learning environment, and partner with families. This is a leadership role for a self-starter who thrives on creating meaningful learning experiences and is able to guide children ages 18 months to 3 years through their first experiences of independence, self-discovery, and joyful learning.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Create a safe, calm, and engaging Montessori classroom.
- Observe and support each child's individual development.
- Introduce practical life, sensorial, language, pre-math and cultural lessons.
- Foster independence, curiosity, and kindness in everyday routines.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and staff.
- Supervise and guide classroom assistant and/or float staff and subs.
- Must be a team player and be able to work collaboratively with the staff.
Qualifications:
- Montessori Infant/Toddler Certification.
- Experience with toddlers in a Montessori or early childhood setting.
- Classroom management skills.
- Strong oral and written communication and organization.
- STARS/MERIT profile, CPR/First Aid certified.
