Lead Design & Analysis Engineer

Salary: $153,000 - 207,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a closely related non-U.S. equivalent field.
• We typically expect Level 5 candidates to have 14+ years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree, 12+ years with a masters degree, or 9+ years with a PhD.
• We prefer a bachelors degree or higher in Engineering, Physics, or Chemistry.
• We prefer experience in electronic system design, coding, and testing.
• We prefer experience developing or integrating mission systems for military aircraft.
• We prefer experience with requirements management tools and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) practices.
• We prefer experience working with Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
• We prefer experience designing mission systems architecture in collaboration with customers.
• We prefer experience analyzing system data.
• We prefer experience working on agile teams and using Jira.
• We prefer strong analytical, collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
• We require an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance, with a final Secret clearance before starting.
• We require U.S. Citizenship for security clearance and export control compliance, or U.S. Person status as defined by export control rules.
• We require the ability to meet Boeings Conflict of Interest assessment process.
• We require the ability to work onsite full time in Daytona Beach, Florida.
• We require candidates to live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense, as relocation assistance is not negotiable.

• We apply engineering practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts to our work.
• We develop, document, and maintain electronic and electrical system requirements based on customer and contract needs.
• We create statements of work and technical performance specifications.
• We translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs, and interface specifications while maintaining lifecycle traceability.
• We test and validate designs to ensure they meet operational and functional expectations.
• We resolve product integration issues and production anomalies.
• We support fielded hardware and software throughout the full product lifecycle.
• We investigate emerging technologies to shape future product concepts and meet projected needs.
• We monitor supplier performance to support system integration and compliance.
• We research technology advances for possible application to our business needs.
• We develop moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements and related hardware, software, and interface specifications.
• We assist with supplier oversight and solve issues affecting deployed hardware and software over time.
• We participate in research, simulation, modeling, flight test evaluation, and collaboration with software teams on real-time operational flight program development.
