I opened my agency in 2023 and currently lead a growing team of two. Before becoming a State Farm agent, I spent several years as an Agent Aspirant and led a successful sales team. Outside of work, I'm married with an 11-year-old daughter and a mini Goldendoodle. I enjoy endurance sports, including marathons and gravel bike riding, and love taking on new challenges. Giving back to the community is one of my greatest passions. Our agency actively supports the local women's shelter, county fairs, school sports, and yearbook programs, and we're proud to stay involved throughout the tri-county area. ROLE DESCRIPTION: Michael Clayton - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. If you thrive in a supportive role and are eager to learn and grow within the insurance industry, we invite you to apply and become a valued member of our team. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
- Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
- Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
My team's mission is to help people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected and realize their dreams. We are located in Highland, AR and help customers with their insurance and financial services needs, including:
