TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, 20774!

Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 4-5 years of experience preferred; 3 years of travel experience preferred. License: Must have an active RN license. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC. Must-Have: Epic experience required. Description: ED RN Night Shift. Schedule: 3x12 hours, 19:30 - 08:00, every other weekend required. Daily census of 140 visits, with 46 beds. Patient-to-nurse ratio: 1:4. Patient diagnoses include chest pain, stroke, sepsis, cardiac arrest, trauma, respiratory illness, and respiratory arrest. Responsibilities include providing care for diverse patient populations, including neonates, adolescents, and adults. Special procedures may involve care of ventilated patients, management of various trauma cases, and administration of emergency medications. Staffing support includes interdisciplinary teams such as physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Flexibility to float within the unit as needed. Candidates must be comfortable managing high-stress situations and coordinating care for critically ill patients. Weekly schedule may include working every other weekend and required holidays. Travel experience and previous charge experience is preferred. Candidates must meet compliance requirements prior to the start of the assignment.
