A specialty pharmacy in Cold Spring, MN is seeking a skilled Pharmacist for weekend coverage from June through September. This per diem opportunity offers the chance to utilize your expertise in both long-term care and retail pharmacy settings while supporting patient health in a dynamic environment.
Location: Cold Spring, Minnesota
Schedule:
- Saturdays and Sundays, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Duration: June to September
Job Type: Per Diem
- Perform comprehensive dispensing duties in long-term care and retail pharmacy environments
- Counsel patients on medication usage and provide immunizations as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws, protocols, and safety standards
- Manage prescription verification and supply inventory
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree preferred
- Certification in Immunization and CPR required
- Medication Therapy Management (MTM) certification is a plus
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations in retail and long-term care settings
- Excellent communication skills and patient-focused approach
