Inova Mount Vernon Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Fellow to join our team. This position is ideal for experienced nurses looking to change specialties. Eligible nurses will qualify for sign-on and relocation bonuses.

Spring 2027 cohort which begins on March 1st

Required to go through and complete the OR Fellowship upon start.

Work Schedule: Full time, Day Shift

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team
• Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner
• Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes
• Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery
• Attends and participates in all learning sessions assigned for successful completion of the Registered Nurse (RN) Fellowship

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience
• Bachelor's Degree Nursing or Associate's Degree from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date
• Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN
• Basic Life Support with American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of Acute or Critical Care Registered Nurse experience
