Is NOT on an active Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) . Job Responsibilities Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions Operate the End Former, Small Bender, Large Bender, and Hole Punch. Set up and program machine with specifications of product information. Accurate reading of all measurements. Routine service of machines. Produce quality product while maintaining customer and production standards. Ensure correct tools are used to operate machine. Inspect all work to ensure it meets specifications. Perform any other job responsibilities directed by management as business dictates. Safety Training, Team Meetings & Lean concepts. Participate in safety and skill training, and demonstrate a high regard for safety at all times. Utilize lean tools: 6s, visual factory concepts in maintaining order, cleanliness and safe work environment. Maintain a safe work area by working safely, following safety guidelines, and wearing required personal protective equipment. Job Requirements Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), preferred. Core Competencies required: Able to read a measuring tape, micrometers, and calipers. Able to read and interpret blueprints (green sheets). Able to accurately identify the correct tooling needed, determine cut length, and program the bender with measurements to run the part. Able to identify sizes and numbers. Maintains a Customer Focus. Takes Ownership. Is a Team Player. Achieves Quality Results. Key Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Qualities Required Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Able to read measuring scales, tape measure, micrometers and calipers. Able to apply basic math concepts including angles. Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
