Process Technician - 2nd Shift

Description Purpose & Scope: This role is responsible for managing and adjusting all processes for plastics injection molding machines as well as performing daily checks on molds, machines, robots, and other related equipment. Essential Duties May Include: Complete plastic molding machine production start-ups and re-starts, after mold changes. Implement established processes for new and existing molds to run at optimum cycles. Partner with material handlers, operators, and other technicians to keep machines running. Assign operators work as instructed. Assist Quality, Tool Room, Maintenance and Engineering in resolving any issues with production process, troubleshoot and find solutions. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Supervise shift and leading team-members. Physical Demands of position: The ability to manage several projects at one time with frequent interruptions and tight deadlines. Ability to work in a loud manufacturing environment. Occasional need to bend, squat, climb, grasp, reach, and lift, up to 50 lbs. Frequent walking / standing.
