Requirements:
- Active National Mortgage Licensing System Registry (NMLS) license.
- 1+ years of sales experience or relevant financial loan experience at a commercial bank, credit union, mortgage company, or other financial institution.
If you do not have an active NMLS license, we are willing to sponsor the right candidate through the process and aid in your success.
Responsibilities
- Originates and processes mortgage loan applications from initial contact to closing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with FNMA, fair housing, and regulatory guidelines.
- Utilizes Loan Origination System (LOS) to input data, run pre-qualifications, and manage pipeline; reviews documents and performs underwriting support as needed.
- Conducts financial analysis, calculates debt-to-income ratios, and communicates loan options and conditions clearly to clients.
- Builds relationships with borrowers, real estate professionals, and partners; negotiates terms and coordinates closing activities to secure timely funding.
- Maintains thorough records, adheres to compliance standards, and provides high-quality customer service throughout the loan lifecycle.
