24-hour hospitalist shifts
Ongoing OB hospitalist coverage

Licenses & Certifications Required

Active Washington Medical License Required
Board Certified/Board Eligible in OB/GYN Required

Clinical Responsibilities

Provide OB hospitalist coverage
Provide emergency GYN coverage
Perform first assist when needed
First assist support available
No circumcision responsibilities
No backup responsibilities for midwives
No backup responsibilities for family practice providers

Call & Support Structure

Backup available through OB/GYN ED call
In-house anesthesia available
MFM support onsite

Patient Volume

Average total hospital deliveries: 283 per month
Estimated hospitalist deliveries: 8 per month
Estimated hospitalist patient encounters: 334 per month

NICU Level III
MFM onsite
No residency program
