Advanced Practice Provider – County Correctional Healthcare Nocturnist Location: County Correctional – Cuyahoga County Jail, Cleveland, OH Biweekly Hours: 80.00 About the Role MetroHealth's Division of Correctional Medicine seeks a night shift Advanced Practice Provider for the Cuyahoga County Jail. The position offers an opportunity to provide general and urgent care to a medically diverse and underserved patient population in a correctional setting. Responsibilities Provide high‑quality clinical care, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions, while collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Maintain clinical documentation, adhere to regulatory standards, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with Ohio Board of Nursing/Ohio Board of Medicine requirements and sustain medical staff clinical privileges. Required Credentials Graduate of an accredited DNP or MSN Advanced Practice Registered Nurse program (Nurse Practitioner). Graduate of an accredited Doctoral or MS Physician Assistant program (Physician Assistant). Current RN and APRN license in the state of Ohio (Nurse Practitioner). Current PA licensure in the state of Ohio (Physician Assistant). Board Certified in respective specialty (APRN or PA, NCCP). Current BLS and ACLS (or obtain ACLS within one year). Meets medical staff clinical privilege requirements and maintains required agreements with supervising physicians.
